Orange in the UK has revealed plans to launch the San Francisco II, a successor to its previous budget Android smartphone. It replaces last year’s San Francisco and will be available on pay-as-you-go or monthly plans. It moves to an 800MHz processor along with 512MB of RAM, a five-megapixel camera, and Android 2.3.

A 3.5-inch, 800×480 touchscreen serves as the framework, and the handset gets the Orange-specific HD Voice feature for clear conversations along with Signal Boost for better reception when indoors. Assisted GPS, an MP3 player and a built-in FM radio are integrated as well.

Orange preloads its mail, contacts backup and coupon apps on the phone. The San Francisco II will cost £99 on pay-as-you-go plans and free with two-year contracts on a minimum £10.50 (nearly $17) per month plan. It will ship in late November.
