Nintendo of America has announced that Nintendo Badge Arcade is available now as a free download via the 3DS eShop. The free-to-play title, which launched in Japan last year and hits Europe on Friday, lets players collect badges that can be displayed on the 3DS home screen. There are badges from a wide range of Nintendo titles, including Mario Kart 8, Splatoon, and Pikmin and along with Badge Arcade’s exclusive home screen themes players can create all sorts of unique and creative displays featuring their favorite Nintendo characters and consoles.

Players can buy five plays for $1.00, but you can also win up to three free plays per day by using the Practice Catcher. It’s important to note, however, that skilled players will be able to snag multiple badges with only one play, tumbling them into the chute together. With beautiful badges pulled from Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer, The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, and the Super Famicom hardware era, Nintendo has created quite an attractive proposition for fans of the company’s products and history.
