Nintendo Sells Over 300,000 Switches In Japan in First Three Days of Release

Nintendo sold 330,637 Switch units in Japan during the three-days sales period between March 3 and March 5, according to Famitsu sales numbers.

The hardware’s highest selling software, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, reportedly sold 193,060 copies in Japan, not including downloadable copies.

In comparison, Wii U opened at first week sales of 308,570 in December 2012, with its highest selling launch title being New Super Mario Bros. U at 170,000.
