TV Land has given a 12-episode series order to Nobodies, a single-camera comedy pilot executive produced by Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone through their production banner On The Day.
Starring, executive produced and written by Groundlings alums Hugh Davidson, Larry Dorf and Rachel Ramras (Mike Tyson Mysteries), Nobodies revolves around the three as they try desperately to land one of their famous friends for a feature script that they have developed, so that they, too, can rise to fame in Hollywood.
Falcone is directing and guest-starring in the pilot episode. Jason Bateman, Maya Rudolph, Jim Rash and Nat Faxon will also guest star in the pilot. JAX Media’s Tony Hernandez also exec produces for TV Land and Michael McDonald will serve as executive producer and showrunner.
