Rockstar Games has had plenty to say about Max Payne 3, from its multiplayer to the seemingly darker story. But what video game players haven’t heard much about is the franchise’s signature feature: Bullet Time.
Now, players finally get a closer look at Bullet Time through a new video posted by Rockstar on Thursday.
As with previous installments of Max Payne, the third chapter lets users slow down time to accurately mow down groups of enemies. The amount of time players have varies based on risk involved, precision and other factors.
Rockstar has added some cinematic flair to this with special kill cameras that shift to the perspective of the final slain enemy. Players can even slow down these scenes to create a more dramatic death sequence.
The game launches May 15 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
