New Info on Multi-Player Mode in Devil’s Third

devils-thirdDevil’s Third director Tomonobu Itagaki, in a new interview with Famitsu has shared some new information regarding the multiplayer aspect of the upcoming title. First of all, he said that the game will support up to 16 players in the online play, but this will not be the final figure as developers will release updates after launch to increase the player count.

In addition to that, he mentioned that Devil’s Third multiplayer will include some unique elements that players have never seen in any other online mode before. Also, in the game’s multiplayer, there will be options for the players to either go alone against the enemy or form a clan, whichever suits your playstyle. Other than that, you will also be able to customize your characters and gear without any restrictions.

Tomonobu Itagaki continued on to talk about his plans to utilize different features of Wii U system:

“It is our policy to make full use of the hardware’s characteristics. I’m currently thinking along the lines of having something other than having you press down on the Wii U GamePad, and something that will make you say, ‘Oh, I see!”

Itagaki also mentioned that Devil’s Third will take place in North America, as you will take part in a campaign, where you will have to go against numerous enemies and have to beat every single one of them to be the last man standing.
