A new Hearthstone update will bring with it an offer that Blizzard hopes will get players to drop a few bucks on the free-to-play game.

The next content update introduces the Welcome Bundle, a $5 purchase that consists of 10 Classic packs (each containing five cards) and a class Legendary card. The Legendary is a random one from the Classic set and won’t be a golden version. That’s good value for those interested in spending real-world money–the cheapest Classic card pack bundles are priced at two for $3 or seven for $10, and that’s without the guarantee of a Legendary.

The Welcome Bundle can only be purchased once per account–you can’t take advantage of this to buy your way to all nine Classic class-specific Legendary cards. Despite the name, though, you don’t need to be a new player in order to buy this; it’s available to all players.

The bundle may only be around for a limited time. The announcement post on Hearthstone’s website describes this as a special deal that “Krizgut, [the] goblin inventory manager,” put together. It later states it’s available “for as long as Krizgut can keep the ethereal portal open.”

Blizzard also recently announced plans to update Arena mode by removing access to select cards for eight of the nine classes.
