MSI has introduced three new notebooks that are said to be geared for gaming, entertainment and mobile productivity. Two GP60 models integrate 15.6-inch displays, 2GB NVIDIA GeForce discrete graphics and a choice between a 3.0GHz Core i5 processor or 3.2 GHz Core i7 chip. The basic package offers 1366×768 resolution, while the i7 variant steps up to a 1920×1080 panel with an antiglare finish.

The GP70 brings many of the same features, including the 2GB graphics card and a 3.0GHz Core i5 processor, but steps up to a 17.3-inch display with 1600×900 resolution.

Like the company’s other G-series notebooks, the new GP offerings feature programmable SteelSeries keyboards with a gaming-oriented layout and support for up to 10 simultaneous keystrokes. The company also highlights premium headphone amplification and Sound Blaster Cinema processing, while the Matrix Display system can send separate signals to three external monitors.

The basic GP60 carries a $900 retail price, which jumps to $1050 for the Core i7 edition. The GP70 can be purchased for $950.
