Monty Python is heading to Netflix after the SVOD service secured international rights to all of the classic British comedies.

The digital service has picked up the rights to movies including Monty Python and the Holy Grail and Monty Python’s Life of Brian as part of a package deal. They will initially air in the UK and Canada as well as other territories from April 15 and will be launched on Netflix in the U.S. later in the year.

In addition to the library titles, Deadline understands that Netflix is eyeing a number of original commissions featuring members of the British comedy troupe, which featured John Cleese, Eric Idle, Terry Jones, Graham Chapman, Michael Palin and Terry Gilliam.

Other titles include British TV series Monty Python’s Flying Circus, Monty Python’s Fliegender Zirkus, which initially aired on Germany’s ARD, box-set collection Monty Python’s Personal Best, Monty Python Conquers America, Monty Python’s Almost the Truth, The Meaning of Monty Python, Monty Python’s Best Bits (mostly) and Monty Python Live (mostly): One Down, Five To Go, which saw the surviving members perform live at London’s O2 in 2014.

Eric Idle’s What About Dick?, which featured comedians including Russell Brand, Billy Connolly, Tim Curry, Eric Idle, Eddie Izzard, Jane Leeves, Jim Piddock, Tracy Ullman and Sophie Winkleman, will also appear on the service.
