Master Chef JuniorKids cooking competition show “Master Chef Junior” is returning to the kitchen. Host and judge Gordon Ramsay’s reality show that follows tween and teen culinary geniuses through food-related challenges averaged 5.1 million total viewers in its first season. Chef Graham Elliot and restauranteur/winemaker Joe Bastianich also judge.

The show is produced by Shine America and the Ramsay-cofounded One Potato Two Potato and is based on a format created by Franc Roddam and Shine.

“MasterChef Junior is one of the few shows on television that the entire family can truly enjoy together, and I can’t wait to see what Gordon, Joe, Graham and the next round of rambunctious, ridiculously talented junior chefs cook up in season two,” said Kevin Reilly, Fox chairman of entertainment.

Open casting calls for season two take place in January in New York, Los Angeles, Dallas and Chicago
