Mad Catz Strike M Bluetooth Mobile Keyboard Sports NFC Pairing

Mad Catz has announced a new mobile keyboard in its line of GameSmart gaming peripherals. The Strike M takes the design of earlier keyboards in the range, scales it down to a device with a tablet-sized footprint, and introduces Bluetooth connectivity so it can be used with various smartphones, tablets, or micro consoles such as the company’s own Mojo.

Powered by a rechargeable lithium polymer battery, the Strike M is able to use NFC to pair itself with a host device. It offers backlit micro Pulse scissor keys and an “optical finger navigation” mouse sensor, as well as dedicated media keys, which when combined with its small size, is likely to make it more suitable for a HTPC system than general use.

Expected in a choice of three colors, Mad Catz hopes to ship the Strike M in time for the holidays, with the price yet to be determined.
