MacTech, the long-running journal of Apple technology, has announced the end of early-bird registration for the first of their MacTech Boot Camp conferences in Dallas, Texas on April 27th. The event is a single-track, hotel-based seminar featuring more than nine sessions, certification exams and other events specifically aimed at Mac consultants and techs who primarily serve consumer, SOHO and small- and medium-sized business clients.

The Dallas event will be held at the Hyatt Regency DFW, near the airport (there is a free shuttle to the hotel). The conference also offers Apple Certification Testing the day before each event (for Dallas and Boston) handled by MacAmerica and Future Media Concepts.

Early bird pricing is still available (for a very limited time) for the Boston event, and now open for Los Angeles and Chicago as well. Attendees can save $200 off the normal $500 entry fee by registering early.

Session topics include building your brand; working with clients; best practices for hardware, software and network deployments; troubleshooting; integrating mobility into small business; Windows concerns in Mac offices; archiving, storing and restoring data; remote consulting and more. Each session runs around 45 minutes, and other topics are included if time permits. Session chairs for the Dallas event are CV Rao and Nathan Toups, with Andy Espo and Leon Lincoln handling the Boston event.

Other conferences will be held in Boston, Massachusetts on May 18th, Los Angeles California on July 27th and Chicago Illinois on August 31st, and early-bird registration pricing is still available for those events (Boston early-bird pricing closes later today).
