Lian Li lO-SeriesLian Li has officially brought its O-Series wall-mountable PC cases to the UK, starting at £190 for the entry-level PC-05 and rising to £278 for the flagship PC-O7S.

Designed to minimise footprint, the O-Series from Lian Li uses an open-air chassis design covered with an oversized panel of tempered glass to show off its internals. Although each unit comes supplied with a stand allowing for horizontal or vertical desktop use, their real selling point is that they are designed to be wall mounted and turned into a real aesthetic talking point. The entry-level PC-O5 supports mini-ITX boards, while the PC-O6S ups the ante to micro-ATX and the PC-O7S supports full-size ATX and oversized SP-ATX boards as standard.

The company has also designed in support for liquid cooling systems to most variants, denoted by an S suffix in the model name. The PC-O5S is near-identical to the PC-O5 variant except for added support for 240mm radiators, while the larger PC-O6S and PC-O7S support 360mm radiators as standard with no non-S variants available. Each model includes a hard drive cage hidden behind an anodized aluminium shield, although direct mounting to the motherboard tray or to a removable bracket behind the motherboard are also supported.

The oversized tempered glass window that acts as a lid on all models in the O-Series is designed to turn a PC into a work of art, with a supplied PCIe riser card and extension cable allowing graphics cards to be fitted parallel to the motherboard. The smallest PC-05 comes with a single 140mm fan for cooling, while the larger PC-06S and PC-07S come with three top-mounted 120mm fans as standard with support for an optional 140mm fan at the rear.

Full details of the PC-05PC-05SPC-06S and PC-07S can be found on their respective product pages. Global availability is set for February 2015, with the UK getting an early start via reseller CaseKing which will be selling the cases ‘soon‘ priced at £190, £214, £254 and £278 respectively.
