Publisher Idea Factory plans to develop a role-playing game with Disgaea 4 director Masahiro Yamamoto for release on the PlayStation Vita in 2014, the company announced on its official website.
According to a translation of the announcement, Idea Factory and Yamamoto recently entered a contract to create the new RPG, which is scheduled to be published by Idea Factory subsidiary Compile Heart in 2014. Yamamoto is currently working with a team of developers on the unnamed title.
Yamamoto previously worked on titles such as Disgaea 4, Metal Gear Acid for the PlayStation Portable and Disgaea: Hour of Darkness for PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3.
Further details on the new RPG were not revealed in the announcement.
