HTC Found Guilty of Nokia Patent Infringement

The U.S. International Trade Commission has ruled that HTC violated two smartphone patents owned by Nokia.

The patents in question pertain to how smartphones transmit and receive data. The ITC’s action is an initial ruling made by an administrative law judge.

The full panel will not review this initial decision until January 2014.
