The HTC Desire C prematurely spoiled by Vodafone Portugal is now official. The entry-level Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) handset offers users similar styling to the HTC One X and Beats Audio processing for between $200 and $250 off-contract. The Wildfire S successor will be powered by a 600MHz processor and will also offer NFC capabilities.

It will center on a 3.5-inch capacitive touch screen with an HVGA resolution (320×480) and incorporates a 5-megapixel rear camera. To help keep its entry price low, HTC has included just 4GB of onboard memory. It is also loaded with HTC’s Sense 4.0 UI.

The HTC Desire C will come in red, silver, white and black hues and also includes 25GB of complimentary cloud storage courtesy of Dropbox. It is expected to go on sale in Europe next month, with North American availability pending.
