HP Intros Two New All-In-Ones – Envy 23 and Pavilion 23

HP has given its latest 23-inch all-in-one desktop the Envy moniker, which it up until now, has typically reserved for the company’s high-end offerings. At first glance it does not meet this criteria, looking quite similar to the also just released entry-level Pavilion 23 all-in-one. However, it is a thinner design that the Pavilion, and also offers the higher-end componentary that users would expect for a desktop starting from $949.

The Envy 23 centers on a 1080p display and is powered by a choice of Intel’s latest third-generation ‘Ivy Bridge’ processors and incorporates a TV Tuner, a Blu-ray drive and up to 2TB of storage. It also includes an HDMI input so the display can also be used for a gaming console. Like many of HP’s computers, it also features Beats Audio processing.

The HP Pavilion 23 centers on a 1080p display and can also be had with up to 2TB of storage, but starts from a more palatable $649. To get to this starting point, HP has opted for AMD APUs. To keeps its price down, it also drops the TV Tuner and Blu-ray options, while also omitting Beats Audio.

Both will make HP all-in-ones will make their appearance on the HP website from August 2, before shipping from August 5.
