After four solid seasons of comedy, the titular ladies in Grace and Frankie have earned the right to say, “F-ck it!” And that’s exactly what they say, numerous times, in the latest trailer for the upcoming Season 5 of the Netflix hit series.
If you haven’t seen a single episode of Grace and Frankie, then you’re missing out on one of the most fun, silly, and well-acted 30-minute comedies on any screen. The series stars Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin as the two older women, in the twilight of their lives, who discover that their respective husbands are not only gay but are in love with each other. This leads the duo into all sorts of hijinks, with curse words flying.
The new season finds the curmudgeons attempting to save their home, as their children are attempting to sell it from under them. Grace and Frankie have to prove to their families that they are able to take care of themselves, while also attempting to live their lives to the fullest. How do they live life to the fullest? Well, with drugs and other substances.
As mentioned, “Grace and Frankie” stars Tomlin and Fonda, but the series has an impressive supporting cast that includes June Diane Raphael, Brooklyn Decker, Baron Vaughn, Ethan Embry, Sam Waterston, and Martin Sheen.
The fifth season of Grace and Frankie debuts on Netflix globally on January 18.
