Gone HomeExperimental narrative game Gone Home is coming to Wii U, Nintendo of America senior manager of licensing and marketing Damon Baker revealed during a presentation at Unite 2014.

Confirmation of the Wii U release was made as part of a discussion on future Unity Engine based titles on the Nintendo system. “We’ve got tons of titles that are also confirmed and coming out in the near future, things like The Swapper, things like Gone Home, so we’re really excited about the level of Unity support that we’re receiving on the platform,” said Baker.

We’ve reached out to the developer for further details. Earlier in the year it was confirmed that Gone Home would be headed to consoles this fall, without specifying which exact systems.

The Fullbright Company has rebranded itself earlier this month as simply Fullbright. Co-founder Steve Gaynor wrote at the time that although the name was being truncated, the studio will be continuing “[its] focus on creating immersive, unforgettable story exploration video games.”

Work on the next game from Fullbright has already begun, and Gaynor wrote that the team will add other members to keep development moving, including a programmer and character animator.
