Gigabyte Force H3X
Gigabyte has introduced a new series of gaming headsets it plans to launch before the end of the year. Called the Force H Series, this line of headphones includes five models to suit gamers, mobile device owners and audiophiles alike.
According to the company, each headset is engineered with different audiotechnology. For instance, the Force H7 offers real 5.1 surround, the Force H5 with virtual 7.1 surround, the Force H3 and H3X for hard-core gaming, and the Force H1 for Bluetooth stereo.

However, all five share some of the same physical traits, such as an adjustable, lightweight industrial design featuring swivel ear pads and a metal headband. They also completely enclose the ear thanks to a unique hexagonal-shaped circumaural headphone design. Memory foam and “breathable” leather should remain comfortable way into the early morning hours, too.
The four models that can be plugged into a PC feature a retractable uni-directional microphone. The H7 and H5 models also include a built-in smart control panel, while the H3 and H3X has an independent in-line control panel. The H1 version includes controls embedded in the headset.
Gigabyte Force H1
Gigabyte already provides the details of three of these headphones online. For starters, the Force H1 is a Bluetooth 3.0 headset for tablets and smartphones. This model includes gold-plated 40 mm driver units and a rechargeable battery offering up to 10 hours of music and up to 25 hours of talk time. On standby, the battery lasts for 300 hours.
The specifications for the Force H3X include 50 mm gold-plated driver units with enhanced bass, whereas the H3 seems to have non-gold-plated 50 mm driver units. However, both sport inline controls and a foldable design so that they can be stored in the provided high-quality carrying pouch.
As these headsets aren’t shipping until “Winter” Q4 2014, the company has not provided any pricing. Here in the United States, these headphones will likely be carried by the likes of Amazon, AVA Direct, iBuyPower, Newegg and more.
