Originally revealed at this year’s E3 back in June, the limited edition XBOX 360 wireless controller featuring Gears of War 3 branding has launched worldwide today. The limited edition controller can be found at Xbox.com and at retail stores worldwide now, and comes with a number of special bonuses.
The limited edition Xbox 360 Wireless Controller features the Infected Omen symbol on its face and comes with five downloadable in-game weapon skins for the starting weapons Electronic (Lancer, Retro Lancer, Hammerburst, Sawed-Off Shotgun and Gnasher). Designed to match the Gears of War 3 special edition Xbox 360 console, the limited edition Xbox 360 Wireless Controller features the new transforming D-Pad. The controller runs on two AA batteries, and is compatible with the Xbox 360 Play and Charge kit, sold separately.
Co-designed by Microsoft and Epic Games, the limited edition Xbox 360 Wireless Controller is be available from to retailers worldwide today, with a retail price of $59.99 or £34.99 in the UK
