Fuji Debuts FinePix F600EXR and JX370 Compacts

Fujifilm has debuted two compact FinePix cameras, the F600EXR and the JX370. The F600EXR sports a 16-megapixel EXR-CMOS censor and comes fitted with a wide-angle 15x zoom lens (24-360mm equivalent). It can capture images in the RAW format and is capable of shooting video in 1080p. It also incorporates a large 3.0-inch LCD viewfinder.

The F600EXR is designed for casual photographers who are looking for a high quality results with minimal fuss. To this extent, the camera combines motion sensing with a high ISO to reduce blurring, particularly in low-light conditions. It also includes a high speed auto-focus and can continuously shoot up to 11fps for 32 frames.

The Fuji FinePix JX370 slots in beneath the F600EXR as an entry-level 14-megapixel compact camera with a 28-140mm lens. It has a 5x zoom and can shoot video in 720p and still photos in 1080p. It includes standard smart functions including facial detection, image stabilization as well social hooks for Facebook and YouTube.

The FinePix F600EXR is due in October for a retail price of $350. There are currently no release details for North America available for the JX370.
