Facebook Messenger for Android Updated – Now Supports Group Chats

Facebook recently updated Messenger for Android devices and carried over features recently given to the iPhone. Messenger for Android now supports groups.

Users can create groups, name them, tag them with photos, and save them. Second, users can now forward messages from one user/conversation to another.

Third, Facebook Messenger for Android allows users to place shortcuts to group conversations directly on the home screen panels. Facebook also said the app contains several bug fixes and performance improvements.

Facebook Messenger for Android is free to download from the Google Play Store.
