Those who own a digital PlayStation 3 copy of Dishonored will get the upcoming remastered version for half price on PlayStation 4.

Digital preorders for Dishonored: Definitive Edition went live on the PlayStation Store today. Alongside the $40 version that was previously announced is a $20 Definitive Edition upgrade.

While Bethesda hasn’t officially announced this option, the listing explains that owning the digital PS3 version of Dishonored entitles you to this discounted PS4 version. You’ll only be able preorder this if you’re logged into an account that owns Dishonored on PS3. At the same time, owning the last-gen version prevents you from purchasing the $40 version, as the $20 option is the exact same game.

It appears this deal is available even to those who own PS3’s Dishonored through PlayStation Plus. The game was a freebie back in April.

Dishonored: Definitive Edition was announced for Xbox One and PS4 at this year’s E3. Due out on August 25, it offers improved visuals and all previously released DLC. We also learned the first details about Dishonored 2, which is set for release next spring on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
