Dell has launched a pair of Latitude 7000-series Ultrabook, on sale, with both notebooks using Intel Haswell processors. The Latitude 14 7000 offers a 14-inch 1366×768-resolution anti-glade display, with a touch-enabled 1080p version on the way, while the marginally smaller and lighter Latitude 12 7000 model opts for a similar-resolution 12.5-inch screen, also with a 1920×1080 touch model expected in the future.

Both versions have base models using an Intel Core i3-4010U 1.7GHz processor with 4GB of RAM, with options for HSPA+, LTE, and Bluetooth connectivity on top of Wi-Fi, Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI, DisplayPort, and three USB 3.0 ports. The Latitude 12 uses an 128GB SSD for storage, a 31Whr battery, and tips the scales at three pounds. The Latitude 14 weighs in at 3.6 pounds and uses a larger 34Whr battery, but Liliputing notes that it currently does not have an option for SSD storage, instead providing a 320GB model.

Dell is selling the base-line Latitude 12 7000 at $1,170, while the larger Latitude 14 is priced at $1,050, with shipments starting at the end of the month.
