DC Comics has released two more of its “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”-themed variants due out in March, featuring comic book artists sharing their interpretation of the Dark Knight vs. Man of Steel conflict. The latest round sees Chris Daughtry — yes, the recording artist and former “American Idol” contestant — team with Jim Lee for the “Batman” #50 variant, and longtime “The Walking Dead” artist Charlie Adlard on “Superman/Wonder Woman” #27
The variant covers will be polybagged and each version — character spotlight, fade and full color — will ship in equal quantity. “Batman” #50 is scheduled for release on March 23, “Superman/Wonder Woman” #27 is due out March 16.
