Cricket Wireless today lowered the price of its unlimited service plan to $60 per month for a single line.

The plan offers unlimited talk, text, and data (speeds capped at 8Mbps), with taxes and fees included. Families can save on additional lines; a second line costs $50 per month, a third line costs $40, a fourth line costs $30, and a fifth line costs $20.

Together, families can get four lines of unlimited service for $180 or five lines for $200.

The company is offering a choice of several free handsets to those who switch to Cricket, including the Samsung Galaxy Amp 2, the LG Spree, the ZTE Sonata, or the Alcatel Streak.

Cricket plans to improve its service in the months ahead with new features, including HD Voice and WiFi calling.
