Corsair revealed on Monday three high-end cases for PC builders, including the Carbide Series Air 240 (mini-ITX), the Graphite Series 780T (full-tower), and the Graphite Series 380T (mini-ITX). The Carbide Series Air 240 and Graphite Series 380T are slated to ship in August, while the big Graphite Series 780T case is expected to ship in September.
According to the company, the Carbide Series Air 240 is the case for which customers have asked. It’s a cube-shaped chassis sporting a side window with enough room for up to two 240 mm radiators without having to sacrifice space for a full-size graphics card. This chassis also features Corsair’s Direct Airflow Pathway Cooling layout with three pre-installed AF120 fans, and a design that hides the power supply and hard disks behind the motherboard.
As for the Graphite Series 780T, this slick full-size PCcase includes a latched “easy-open” side window panel that showcases the components installed in a “cavernous” interior. This case has enough room to play host to nine hard drives, two 360 mm water cooling radiators and nine expansion slots. There’s also a built-in three-mode fan controller that allows the user to adjust the three pre-installed Corsair AF-140 140 mm fans.
Finally, there’s the Graphite Series 380T mini-ATX PC case that’s portable, thanks to an integrated carry handle. This case sports rounded corners, a windowed side panel, and enough space to accommodate four 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch drives and a full-length graphics card. Cooling options include up to five fans or a 240 mm water cooling radiator. Corsair’s AF-140 140 mm and AF120 120 mm fans are included and are controlled by a three-mode switch like the 780T model.
The Corsair Carbide Series Air 240 will sell for $89.99 to $99.99; the Graphite Series 780T series will sell for $179.99 to $189.99; and the Graphite Series 380T will sell for a flat $129.99.
