Cooler Master is adding another keyboard to its peripheral portfolio. Dubbed the Trigger-Z, the keyboard is part of Cooler Master’s 5-year-old CM Storm brand. Cooler Master is describes the Trigger-Z as a ‘premium gaming hub and mechanical keyboard’ but it’s actually a successor to the Trigger mechanical keyboard the company released in June of 2012.

The new Trigger-Z packs fully programmable macro and standard keys with profile management for up to five profiles and up to 75 macros thanks to 64 KB of onboard memory. It’s also got integrated multimedia keys, built-in audio outputs, a detachable wrist rest, non-slip rubber coating, 14K gold plated ultra low latency USB connectors, and high-grade braided cable.

Cooler Master says the CM Storm Trigger-Z will be available in Cherry MX Brown, Red, and Blue switches, but offered no details on pricing or when we can expect this mechanical keyboard to be available.
