Cooler Master has announced a new case to make part of the Silencio series of enclosures – the Silencio 652S. The case is built to be very silent, despite housing high-performance hardware.

The case itself has actually been seen before. Some of you might notice that the only difference in the name is the additional ‘S,’ and that would be correct. The case is intended to be an even more silent version of the original Silencio 652. What is the difference, you ask? The fans. The original Silencio 652 carries a front 180 mm fan along with a ‘standard’ 120 mm rear exhaust fan, while the new Silencio 652S will carry three Silencio FP 120 fans, two in the front and one as rear exhaust.

The Silencio FP 120 fans are fans which can spin at speeds of up to 1200 RPM, while producing just 11 dBA of noise and pushing up to 1.2 mm of water in static pressure.

The case itself can house up to ATX size motherboards, three optical drive bays and up to seven 2.5″ or 3.5″ drives. Graphics cards can measure up to 423 mm long, with CPU coolers towering up to 168 mm.

Front I/O connectivity is handled by two USB 2.0 ports, two USB 3.0 ports, the standard set of HD audio jacks, and an SD card reader.

The case should reach European shelves this month with  MSRP price of €99. No word on U.S. pricing yet.
