justin-willmanComedy Central has ordered a pilot for a weekly variety show — but with a magical twist.

“Sleight of Mouth” would star magician and TV host Justin Willman and comes from Comedy Central’s “@midnight’s” Chris Hardwick of Nerdist Industries and Brillstein Entertainment Partners’ Alex Murray, as well as Robert Morton.

The show will tap in Nerdist’s social media expertise, mixing it with tech-savvy and modern trickery. Each week, Willman will tackle thought-provoking topics with sketches, social experiments, guest comedians and interactive content.

There are some similar shows in the works, including Comedy Central’s new digital series “CC:Social Scene,” where comics perform skits based on suggestions from Twitter. While the CW’s new show “Penn & Teller: Fool Us” features magicians trying to fool the legendary artists with their own magic tricks.
