Clear announce refreshed devices for the house/office use and for on the go.. The Infomark-made Clear Spot Voyager reinterprets its mobile hotspot and touts a relatively long six-hour battery life for its WiMAX sharing. It can reach as many as eight Wi-Fi devices at once and, at 2.6 inches square, is meant to be pocketable.

Gemtek’s Clear Hub Express is intended for fixed-in-place use and merges both the WiMAX link with a relatively long-ranged Wi-Fi router good for distances of up to 150 feet. Clearwire’s larger, AC-powered unit has no mention of a cap on the number of simultaneous devices.

Both of the 4G devices are available now. Going mobile carries a premium for the Spot Voyager, which costs $125, while fixed use lets the Hub Express cost $100. Either price is contract-free.
