Monday, after CBS renewed Person of Interest for a fifth season, some sources reported that the season order was only for 13 episodes, not the typical 22 episodes the show usually gets.
CBS has confirmed that they are holding Person of Interest until midseason, but did not confirm a 13-episode order. This is what CBS chief Nina Tassler had to say:
“We’re having those conversations with the team right now. Jonathan Nolan and Greg Plageman came in and pitched really terrific ideas for the new season. And you know, we have to see. It’s always been a very smart, creative show. We don’t know yet whether or not it’s going to be the end or not. If it is, we’ll have a great ending.”
