CBS Films has given word that Blake Lively (The Shallows) will executive produce and star in the theatrical motion picture adaptation of The Husband’s Secret. Based on the bestselling novel published by Amy Einhorn Books and wriiten by Liane Moriarty (Big Little Lies), the adaptation is being produced by Chris Weitz, Paul Weitz and Andrew Miano via their Depth of Field production house along with Lively.
“Liane Moriarty has established herself as one of the defining voices of the modern woman and Blake Lively’s unique combination of vulnerability, strength and extraordinary talent makes her the perfect actress to realize Moriarty’s creation,” commented Terry Press, President, CBS Films.
