Bird, Lime, Lyft Have Over $200K In Fines For Abandoned E-Scooters From Comic-Con

The Comic-Con party is over, but the party will cost the e-scooter firms for going to places they should have not been.

During the event people who were in a rush to make that panel or party, left e-scooters on sidewalks ,wheelchair ramps, private parking looks, even hotel room.

The city of San Diego is imposing a $65 fine for each abandoned scooter – 2,500 of them. Scooter companies Bird, Lime and Lyft  face paying a collective $200,000 in fees for the discarded scooters. The firms have until the end of July to pick up and pay up.
