The first character poster for Peter Jackson’s Middle-earth finale, The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, has been released today and you can check it out in the gallery viewer below for a look at Martin Freeman’s Bilbo Baggins, brandishing his sword, Sting. The “Defining Chapter” hits theaters December 17.

The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies concludes the adventure of the title character Bilbo Baggins, who joins the Wizard Gandalf and thirteen Dwarves, led by Thorin Oakenshield, on an epic quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor.
