BlackBerry and Microsoft today announced the immediate availability of BBM for the Windows Phone platform.
BBM is being offered as a beta, but it includes many of the features available to the Android and iOS versions of the app. BBM for Windows Phone supports regular chats and group chats; makes it easy to find and connect with BBM contacts; includes BBM feeds for social networking; and offers a Live Tile that can be pinned to the Start screen.
BlackBerry will add more features to the app over time.
BBM Beta for Windows Phone 8 is free to download and available from the Windows Phone Store now.
