At the same time as unveiling its Transformer tablet notebooks, Asus has revealed high definition versions of its affordable tablet line. The MeMo Pad HD 7 increases the display resolution of its existing seven-inch tablet from 1024×600 to 1280×800, and the MeMo Pad FHD 10 adds in a ten-inch screen and a 1920×1200 resolution.

The smaller MeMo Pad HD 7 offers a quad-core ARM Cortex A7 processor with 1GB of RAM, a five-megapixel rear camera, and 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera. Running on Android 4.0, it is said by Unwired View to have options for 8GB or 16GB of storage and a microSD card slot, and will be available in a range of four colors.

The ten-inch MeMo Pad FHD 10 uses a dual-core 1.6GHz Clover Trail+ processor from Intel with 2GB of RAM inside its 9.5mm (0.37-inches), 580g (20-ounce) frame. A choice of 16GB or 32GB of expandable internal storage is available, and it also has a five-megapixel rear camera, 1.2-megapixel front version, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and three color options.

Pricing and release details for the MeMo Pad FHD 10 were not offered by Asus. The MeMo Pad HD 7 will cost $129 for 8GB of storage and $149 for 16GB. Emerging markets will see the cheaper option first, while the US will receive the larger capacity option initially, with both destined for release in July.
