amd,M-0-403848-1AMD launched on Wednesday the AMD Rewards program, powered by Raptr. AMD gamers can now earn points simply by using the Gaming Evolved application to play their favorite games, optimize settings for those games, or engage with the community. Those points can then be redeemed for games and hardware in the Raptr store.

“We are thankful for the millions of gamers that support the AMD Radeon brand by using the AMD Gaming Evolved application Powered by Raptr,” said Darren McPhee, director, Graphics Marketing, AMD. “The AMD Rewards program is our way of thanking our loyal customers and giving back to the community that has given so much to us.”

Right now the store is having a huge sale, offering the DiRT 3 game for 5,000 points, which is regularly 25,000 points. Other listed games include DIRT Showdown (10,000 points), Deus Ex: Human Revolution (12,500), Hitman: Absolution (12,500), Tomb Raider (12,500), Titanfall (25,000) and more. Customers can also purchase AMD video cards, eGuides to games like Skyrim and Battlefield 4, and more.

So how do you get points? By using easy tasks like optimizing your first game, optimize all games found, and verifying your email address are just three of the ways. By playing a game with the AMD app running, users can receive up to 25 points each day. Contributing to the community brings in 100 points per instance.

In addition to selling products, AMD and Raptr also throw daily, weekly and monthly game sweepstakes, costing 50, 100 and 200 points respectively. For winning the daily game, users can pick one free game. For weekly, users pick two free games and for the monthly, three free games. Users can also win a Radeon R9 270X card, a Toxic R9 270X card, an Astro Gaming headset and more.

“The AMD Gaming Evolved App helps gamers get the best experience every time they play by recommending optimal game settings tailored to their rig; keeping their drivers up to date; and through a diverse set of in-game tools like chat, web-browsing, live-streaming, and through the new AMD Rewards loyalty program,” reads AMD’s press release.
